DOES SCIENCE NEED FAITH? A PRESENTATION BY BR. GUY CONSOLMAGNO, SJ—APRIL 20 7pm
Br. Guy Consolmagno, SJ, is the Director of the Vatican Observatory; winner of Carl Sagan Medal for excellence in public communication in planetary sciences; and writer of hundreds of scientific articles and a number of popular books including Would You Baptize an Extraterrestrial? and Turn Left at Orion.
All Regis Jesuit parents, community members, alumni, neighbors and friends are welcome to attend Br. Guy’s presentation and Q&A on April 20 at 7:00 pm in The Z Theatre. Br. Guy’s talk follows a day of student seminars and an all-school assembly. We are thrilled that he has given his time to the RJ community in this evening session. You do not want to miss this rare opportunity to hear him speak!

 

STATE OF THE SCHOOL—FEBRUARY 22 On Wednesday, February 22, from 7:00-8:30 pm in The Z Theatre in the Steele Center, there will be a town hall event for parents regarding the state of the school. We hope you will consider attending. RJ Board of Trustees Chair Tony Naes ’80, Principals Alan Carruthers and Gretchen Kessler and President David Card ’87 will present at the meeting on the current state of the school and areas of focus in the near future. This is the first time the teams have met since East's narrow victory over RJ in last year's State Championship Match.
