Originally this building was known as the Performing Arts Center, or PAC for short, but after Fr. Phil Steele, the president of Regis Jesuit for 9 years, left it was only fitting to name this addition after him. Steele made such a big contribution to the funding and creation of this building, but also assisted the school as a whole with the continuation of the annual LARK and much more.

“It is just a very commemorative way to show appreciation for all of the work that Fr. Steele did to help RJ grow,” said senior John Lee, current president of the Boys Division Student Council. “He provided RJ with such a supportive and loving community which will never be forgotten.”

Within this building is a new theater, music rooms, and student commons, but more importantly it reminds everyone of the Steele’s legacy and caring spirit.
